New trigger gem "Cast on Block"

Thought about a build to utilize all the "reflect stuff" and came to the conclusion that a trigger like "Cast on block" to cast nova-style spells would be really cool.

The build could be really tanky and with proper balancing (less damage of casted spells and chance to trigger on block) it wouldn't be completely OP without big investments in block/spell block and defensive stats.

What you guys think?

Since they already have a mechanic for "cast on block" with the Tempest shield (kind of), I wouldn't be surprised if something like that would appear as a trigger gem.

Even "Cast on attack missed", "Cast on level up", "Cast on flask used" is also possible lol

id say its far too overpowered, u can have 75% spell block and normal block so u would end up casting far too many skills, of course there means to balance it, for example by adding a cooldown of sort or something, it would be interesting addition i guess

That's why i wrote a proper balancing would be needed. For example only x% of blocked attacks/spells could trigger the cast and the dmg could also be lowered by x%.

Currently this is not possible. :(

The server does not register missed attacks.
Else we would have also better sound feedback for missed hits by now.

use a sword - it can PENETRATE BLOCK

swords dont work with all attacks, and most of all it doesnt work for spells / ranged attacks
