I'm glad you figured it out. I don't know what may have been causing that issue.

I have played with a lot of the options settings but I cant get a better field of view. I have a 1440X900 screen and have the same field of view fullscreen/windowed from the lowest resolution to the highest. But I'm practically playing blind compared to the npcs I'm fighting against. to the point where I have tried to cast arc against one of these people hitting me from offscreen but my arc does not hit him (even though you can hit people offscreen with arc).

I use ice spear as my main form of attack but if I can't get a better field of view at this point I'm not going to bother continuing to play. when a melee creature comes from the bottom of the screen my first shot of ice spear doesn't always get to its crit form before hitting them. This is making me feel virtually blind while going down, while the npcs don't have vision problems.
