Creating PROGRAMS for PoE, What do people want?

Greetings PoE community!
I am a Computer Engineer that recently started playing PoE. Absolutely loving it so far and mad respect for Grinding Gear Games. (Never touching D3 again, haha)

Whenever I play games, I like to create either in-game or out-of-game software to assist players in becoming better, more skilled, and really getting the cutting edge.

I have a few ideas for software I want to create for PoE, but I love asking around and really understanding what the community wants.
So hear is your chance to tell me exactly what you want!

The QUESTION:
What functions, features, or purposes would you want an in-game or out-of-game program to have/serve for Path of Exile?
Really asking:
-What does it do?
-How do you use it?
-How would it improve your gameplay experience or skills?

All software produced is always free and open source. Credit goes where credit is due. If I like your idea and implement it, your name/contribution will go in the code.
Looking forward to reading every ones' input!

WARNING: No program that will control the game for you will be considered. And anything else that goes along with cheating. Cheating is bad and don't do it. Game is way more fun without cheating. The point is to assist players, not cheat.
Edited ^ fixed, haha.

EDIT 2: I think it has been decided mods are out of the question. Due to negative feedback, no game altering programs will be made. I think the focus should be on useful tools to assist players, ya?

i want a program where i can log the maps i run, along with what mods they had, what quality they had, and the resulting map drops within that map. this might be really difficult, but this is what i selfishly want. Being able to filter info by map, map lvl, indoor/outdoor, and map mod would be wonderful too.

how would it improve my play experience? i can get a more accurate view of what map mods are having real effect in high/low level maps, so i can refine my map rolling skillz yo.

no 3rd party programs will be considered.

So uhh... a third party is creating third party apps here.
The chance to Vaal +1% maximum resists on an amulet is less than 1/300.
I think that hearing a few of your ideas may help people give you their thoughts as to what you might be able to add or expand on to better the software you have in mind...

Juts my thoughts, I have been up all night and won't be of too much use in the thinking department right now, so sorry about that, just thought I would let you know that making a few notes of your ideas may stop duplicates or help expand upon (:P)

I do look forward to seeing what you create though, and I will definitely be back to check other people's thoughts and such...

Kind Regards
Patrick

That kind of baffled me a little too, although I put it down to a probable typo?

That or I assume, he just means that no in-game mods and such...

Oh I guess it depends how you look at it. I should clarify, I meant control programs by "3rd party." Like all those ones you used to see in WOW. For example the auto-farm program which was the most popular 3rd party program.

3rd party = not made by GGG in this case. i think youre talking about programs that automate actions usually executed by humans

you aren't allowed to mod the game at all, you will have to make a separate program or website

I am curious how far players are allowed to go with this.
At the very least for in-game software, being able to have a transparent overlay, much like Counter from Wow, would be cool. And beneficial I think.
