depends on MF. If you have like 40% IIR you might as well do catacombs all the time, piety is just going to drop blue stuff, so is Kole and since Lunaris 3 is not lvl 68 anymore, you get less penalty for orb drops in catacombs.

Piety now drops lots of rares.

I find bossfights in PoEway to hard for farming, you loose more XP through dying than it's worth to find gear. At least if you play solo.
I killed Dominus on Merciless Solo and I guess I will skip this imba bastard with my other classes. I want to see the build and gear that can stand this guy. No chance imho. Piety may be compared weaker than Dominus but she#s also still way to imba and no fun at all to kill. Again, I play solo, not party play.

my faw is Catacombs

easy to understand layout (circle) with nice mega-pack of rares and 20% chance for large chest

one drawback - cold dmg. Dream Fragments or 5k+ hp are mandatory because getting permafrozen is VERY easy there. this is reason why docks are so popular while Catacombs give so much more exp

Only 20% chance for the chest? No wonder this thing doesn't spawn for me. Should be always there, Catacombs is not easy imho. I was there from time to time but Catacombs have to many elemental mobs with to many elemental resists, bad for elemental dealing charas like my LA Ranger, you literaly feel how much less damage you do therecompared to the Docks. Better farming there with my Witch but so or so I don't have much Magic Find at all so I guess I still prefer Docks or Lunaris.
Maybe farming the new Garden/Library Areas but the mobs there are even worse. GGG changed the Levels of each Area so you have to go to the Sceptre to farm level 68 mobs and the mobs there are even worse to farm than the ones in the garden areas.
Time for regular Level 70+ Areas with nice farmable mobs. :D

lvl 70 The Ledge would be great lol

Piety's loot buff is definitely noticeable. My stash is filling up with uniques (mostly junk, natch).

I am also currently playing solo, and piety is a piece of cake. Maybe a minute to kill at the most.

I prefer piety over dominus, because of the length of the fight. I could see farming dominus to be really good for solo players once they have the right gear, since the wp is close to the boss fight.

Your build is obviously way better than average. Piety is not a piece of cake for 99% users out there.

Edit - nevermind, they changed the monster levels of Lunaris,
