I would be interested to know this as well. I thought resists would be around -60 to -75 when 3rd act hits.


I believe GGG said Merciless diff would be removed with act 3 and OB, but the resist penalty at the highest diff would be the same as Merciless now.

And if thats not enough, you could spam ice nova, which with the increased aoe range nodes in the starting area, can hit and chill/freeze pretty much everything on screen. That's why I always go with templar in the races. Its like the ultimate ledge(or other outdoor area)-farmer.

Um, I disagree. The Marauder is good an' all, but I scarcely think he's the best farmer. He has relatively poor kill speed, though he can farm very difficult areas to great safety and he levels very safely, it's hard to compare the aoe dps of a crit mage against him.

I think the best farmers are rangers/shadows.

Pretty sure the penalties will be 0/-20%/-60% if I remember what Chris said correctly.
