Steam Purchase Failed

Not sure if anyone else is having this issue but I'll list all the details to try and assist it getting solved.

Location: UK
Steam account and PoE Account linked.

Clicking the Buy Points option in game once the game is loaded through Steam pops up a box asking me to purchase points through Steam and I get the option to purchase 3 packs, 50 points, 100 points or 200 points, for the respective amounts of $5, $10 or $20.

Upon clicking one of these options I simply get a error message saying Steam Purchase Failed.

Note: The first thing of note is the pricing in the boxes, for points is not in local currency, a minor issue nothing more as I'm sure Steam will convert the currency and take the corresponding amount.

The buy button when clicked however, as mentioned, simply just pops up an error message, it doesn't load up the steam store, or the add funds box, and it doesn't ask for any confirmation from steam (Like normally seen when purchasing something from within a game, such as Dota 2)

Also, old supporter packs don't count towards steam trading card drops? I suppose it would've been too good to be true.

Same problem here and can't find a solution, true the site they ask to validate email even when you login with steam so cleary the conversion isn't up to date yet, and i wanted that dragon fireball :(

I'm curious to know if anyone has successfully purchased points through Steam and if so where they are located.

After the patch I tried again to purchase something, and received the same Steam Purchase Failed message, however it was then followed by an authorization box for an in-game Steam purchase as displayed below. Seems the issue is half solved.

Steam Wallet transactions now seem to be allowed and converted by Steam to the countries currency automatically, but the rogue error message can still appear.

The patch fixed it for me.
