Determination?

determination + a friggin granite gives a shitload by itself. Add in molten shell and grace and you have a TON of armor with absolutely nothing from equip.

edit: if I remember correctly you can reach around 30k armor with no/little armor from equip(ci user) using this.

ci users don't need to waste pot slots on health pots , and health users don't get as much health leech as ci users with out making considerable concessions.


so having a constant 30k is easy for ci users with just granite flasks and determination .

and it is not about the armor bonus that shields give , its the block which makes armor better than it actually is.

kind of like how 7 endurance charges can mean the difference between getting one shot and your armor absorbing the majority of the damage.

You're an idiot. It's terrible without a shield.

armor by itself is rarely good unless you spec haaaaaaard into it i guess is the real point.

Without using a shield i get up to 35k of armor with determination and granite. I would say that determination is one of the best aura in the game because of the MORE and not increased armor. But hey i do not know about OP maybe he has no armor and no granite and then complains that determination sucks because hey no armor.
Right now i am happy that it did not get the double nerf hammer like purity which in my opinion was the best because of the +max resistance.

Determination with items like these works well



Each item is like having another grace. Can get godly armour.

Half again as much, regardless of other mods is a huge boost.
Now, if that's not good enough, then...
- you aren't playing armor
- armor sucks in general

I think davros70 meant that the amount reserved goes up to 60%, but the armour benefit is unchanged.
