Blood Magic + New Aura

even if you could reserver about 10% of your life per aura with all the aura nodes that still way to risky to be even affordable
Behind BM there's a node that reduces Aura's by 30%

Plus I saw a node near Templar that was along the lines of 12% reduced cost for Auras and 12% increased effect of Auras on you.

There are also the Reduced %mana cost nodes. As well as other Reduced Aura cost nodes that we arent 100% aware of yet.

Everything will make sense tomorrow.

There will still be people with 6 Auras. Stop stressing.
You can be the ripest, juiciest peach in the world,
and there’s still going to be somebody who hates peaches.

When you see the full changes in the tree, you will probably see using them with blood magic.

It makes me curious about the changes because even if it is reduced down to 10% life reservation per aura I doubt I would be stacking auras, life pool would want to increase massively to blow 30 - 40% off on auras with a melee character.

Still far too much life lost imo, maybe not for a character that sits behind a wall of totems or an army of minions but for a melee with the current armour mechanic the buffer is critical to survival, small hits wont kill you, it is multiple big hits, reducing the size of your buffer puts you at risk, the aura would want to be spectacular at preventing the death scenarios.

10% would be very viable now that you have so much life. Youd basically sacrifice dps nodes for life nodes which in turns likes you run more auras.

20% is simply not.

Patch notes should be comprehensive, not teasers. We shouldnt have to wait.
2 more hp per level is a big deal.

The center little cluster, as an example, went from 54% to 84% increased life. That's a pretty big deal, too.

Reserving 20-30% of your life for 1-2 auras is not as big a deal post patch as it would be if you had to do it now.

And using the blood magic gem for auras seem like a non-option, because you can't get the new multiplicative notable. 50-60% for one aura, if you get some of the other passives.
You are not meant to run 2 auras with BM. You never were.
One aura is what you get because the benefits of BM are huge already. Being able to spam high cost mana spells virtually free. OR feel free to invest heavily in mana regen+mana and totally neglecting dps nodes. Your choice :)

Clarity + BM gem could still be handy for certain builds.

Well, thats what makes the Blood magic gem so OP compared to the keystone. Run 3 Auras on Mana, basically no disadvantage lategame.
