Sorry, but you do sound like they broke your nail.

Chris, if you're reading this I challenge you to break as many of my builds as you can. Then I'd just have to make them work again.

Chris, I veto what raics just said, I need you to only break HIS builds.

Don't be so melodramatic. You'll be here at release just like everyone else. You'll adapt your builds and you'll have more fun then you've ever had playing this game.

You see, attitudes like that are the problems in gaming communities. A small % of the biggest fanboy base is going to accept and adapt to any changes they make even if they vehemently disagree with all changes being made. GGG is going to learn that most players do not think like that at all, and there is going to be a mass exodus in the community if they fuck too many people's builds up.

When I told my ranger friend that he'll no longer be able to run wrath/anger/grace on HP, because its gonna be % based, he said he is quitting too if they do that. So now I don't even have anyone to shovel my gear onto if I do decide to quit.

I'm likely going to systematically delete and clean my stash out just to guarantee that I got nothing to come back to. Because there is nothing more I hate in games like this than starting over.

Except that the tree isn't finished, and won't be released until the final game is.

Just before OB hit, they were making changes less that 24 hours before release. That's how often the tree changes.

And in any case, the website tree updates with the client, so they can't release the 'official' tree until the main client has been pushed to public.

You can't get a 'guarantee' about most parts of the game during this part of the process, because they are constantly changing based on alpha and internal testing. It's just part of the design process. A huge amount of stuff will be patched after as well.

I took a SC of that, because when it happens, ill post the SC for this comment when you find out you're going to have to remake and regear most of your builds. Have fun WTS: (Insert gear from most of your previous builds that also dropped a ton in value) and WTB: (New overpriced flavor of the month build gear). For fucks sake if that is what they call "Change" then I'd just assume stick with what I got, and know.

There is a reason I played D2 for almost 5 years, because the game rarely changed in any substantial way. And I liked it that way, as did a lot of player. People were pretty much begging Blizzard to just leave the fucking game alone and not patch it. And for the most part - they did.

How can you be so mad at restarting over.

You are already lucky that GGG aren't wiping standard league.

You played every single character in an open beta game, of course things will change for the release of the game.

I wish they would wipe standard league. I'm probably leaving anyway, and I met some people on here I can team with in D3. It would just mean more people I know going back to D3 if they wiped standard.

Update is a subjective term when used in your example. Update usually means "Better", as in better in an objective way. But in the way you used the term, it could mean them turning a game into a steaming pile of shit that is no longer any fun to play.

You know what fun in PoE for me is? Casually farming zones with sporker and geting good drops.

Or logging on my facebreaker, run a 73 map, get a phone call, so I walk away from the PC for 5 minutes while my character AFK tanks a a whole pack of mobs, then I come back, hit the right mouse button and they all explode into pieces of hamburger meat. THAT is fun. That is the game I want to play, and THAT is the PoE that I love. If they ruin that game for me, then I'm fucking done, finished
