Starting to troll these lowballers.

I've trolled 5 lowballers today, and all of them were mad when they found out they've been trolled.

I'll describe basically how this works, and I encourage more of the community to start doing this to lowballers.

WTS:

Msg offers!!!

Lowballing: 5 chaos
Me: ok
"Lowballingsends invite"
Accepts invite.
Lowballing: Where to?
Me: act 1 norm.
Lowballingopens trade window, puts 5 chaos in.
Me: puts astramentis in.
*waits 30 secs*
Lowballing: accept dude.
Me: sorry im having issues with my mouse.
Increasinglyimpatientlowballing: Dude just scroll over item and hit accept...
Me: closes trade window.
Lowballing: wtf?
Me: You just got trolled you lowballing.
Lowballing: FUCK YOU
Me: U MAD?

I'm gonna start doing this to every single lowballing out there. Send me a reasonable offer, and I'll considering, send me a lowball and you're gonna get trolled.

If every other item wasn't being sold as "Mediocre belt with no life - 2 exalted" people probably wouldn't lowball so much.

I'm more tired of the ridiculous gougers expecting to sell me a Bear Trap gem for 3 chaos orbs.

I'm not saying you want to gouge, 5 chaos is definitely too low for an astra.

Note to self, when can in new leagues, do this to fuckers who want actually give a price for their items.

Offer twice the value of the item, and repeat your process. Should be fun.

I do this too. It's pretty fun.

Thing I hate iss - everyone thinks their item is somehow better than the next persons, and they completely overprice it. THAT probably irks me more than the lowballers.

I sell shit 5 times better than lets say player B and he is asking for 5x the amount, for a way worse item. I saw a thread this guy was buying a 20/20 gem for 1 ex, and IN THE SAME THREAD he is selling 19/20 AND 20/20 gems for 1.5 ex each.

It's like, wtf?
Thats mean.

But what about people seriously offering 5 chaos and not realising its worth more?

Personally I have no idea of its worth as I wouldn't pay it, but I'd assume its over an ex

Learn to use the indexers for rare items. People selling rares in trade are overpricing stuff more often than not. For example, a guy wanted 6ex for a 350ES circlet. And I found a 380ES circlet with higher stats that I wanted for 2ex on the indexer.

Those players learn the hard way. What better way to learn they were being a lowballing [removed by admin] than to be trolled? Players who are serious need to learn the prices for things before they make an offer, or maintain their ignorance and be trolled.

And FYI that astramentis is worth 2-3ex. Its a god-tier leveling amulet.

Yeah, indexer instant win.

I don't use trade chat unless i'm selling gems and patient with postnig it every so often while i'm doing my instances.

Also I use it for uniques aswell, you can browse who is online at the moment, and for at least 60% of people who have stores, they are willing to at least try bartering to a small extent
usually for a trade to be successful you need to have a reasonable price, making a insta high price just makes people ignore it instead of politely trying to convince them to give an offer, if your rude people often become offended and give either crap offers or leaving it, and by seeing how you handling it, it does seem you wont find many buyers.

Well im not trying to say your a bad seller but Selling stuffs somewhat require both you and the buyer to be polite, 1 wrong move and it will just go extremly bad who most the seller tend to become. (Sellers)
While I am not completely against what you are doing I do have a problem with it.

People offering 5 chaos for an Astramentis is pretty bad however they could just be a new player who doesn't really know any better.

IF YOUR NOT GOING TO PUT A PRICE ON YOUR ITEM THEN YOU SHOULD EXPECT LOW BALLS.

Your making the buyer play a guessing game as to what amount you will accept for your item. People generally aren't going to throw out a super great offer, they are going to start as low as they think they can get away with. That is not a bad thing on their part, that is their job as the buyer.

This is more true with rares that don't have any kind of set price to go off from. High quality uniques are things the community has a better idea of a baseline price so its less understandable to get a terrible offer of 5 chaos for an Astramentis.

Still, please don't attack low ballers if you don't even put down a minimum bid.
