Why? Because this is the best fucking game ever. Because GGG is the best development team ever. Because I want this game to be around for a long, long time.
For my unique, definitely gonna make a map. I've been tossing around a few rough ideas, let's see how shitty they are :) Fairgraves Galley Unique Shipyard Not sure if the tileset exists for this, or if any tileset could be manipulated to good effect, but the idea is that you are in a gigantic ghost ship. Full of super-hasted pirate ghosts, Large chests, and all the typical pirate themed stuff. This would be a truly "end-game" map, extremely difficult to complete, but extremely rewarding. Perhaps a "always drops unique" mod on the boss? Immortals Arena Unique Promenade In the same spirit of Cowards trial, this would be a multi-tiered map consisting of randomly selected Boss/Exile battles. The twist: each tier adds X% health and damage to the boss, and each tier has two exits at the end. One takes you to the next boss, the other takes you to an "exit" room containing a large chest. Each boss you beat adds IIQ/IIR to the large chest... And ideally it would be balanced so that nobody could get past 10-12 bosses without it being impossibly difficult. YOU have to make the choice based on the last boss whether or not you could possibly kill the next! Dilemma Unique (shrug) Another "variable IIQ/IIR" theme, the idea is simple: Try to kill the boss without touching any other mobs. Each monster you kill would add %life/damage to the boss (obviously this would need to be a tiny percentage). Haven't really thought this one out far enough to choose an actual boss, I just like the idea. I had a similar idea to your second map. A series of boss only fights. I think it would be a good addition to the game.
Perhaps 5 blue or 3 yellow mobs before each boss? need to refill those potions IGN: Starlight_Seraphim

" Honestly, its definitely on the top of my list. There are a few bosses that spawn mobs, but your concern with filling potions is a valid one. On the other hand, this might add a touch of difficulty... Food for thought! Edit: We could add a mod to the map: "+100% flask refill rate". This would basically fill your potions after each boss.
