A nicely linked Searing touch isn't expensive for nothing, you know, and I remember it being dirt-cheap in CB. Guess people found out just how safe and effective burn is.
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

cold or phys dmg is way safer than that due to slow/freeze and stun

cold or phys dmg is way safer than that due to slow/freeze and stun

Try using temp chains,they are not going anywhere :)

Physical damage does'nt stun any better than other types of damage.

i did mention bear trap in the OP.Imagine bear trap+added fire damage+chance to ignite+ele prolif,and dual curse the mobs with temp chains/flammability.

even better,replace melle splash with added fire damage,who cares if you only hit 1 target,when you proc ignite it burns everything anyway
You dont need that. IB is strong already (IB+melee splash+multistrike/added fire+fast attacks+melee phys dmg+wed. Currently using it at 86 and its op
Ele prolif/fire pen/ignite is wasted on it, because IB is oriented about exploding mobs (which makes it the most fun skill in the game imho).
If you want a melee burning build use The Godeess Scorned
