Avatar of Fire,how could it be used effectively?

infernal blow already converts 50% of phys dmg to fire dmg...

Probably won't work, but I was just struck by the "Can only deal fire damage" and possible combination with Blood Rage "You lose x% of your Maximum Life per second as Chaos Damage", but I expect that being a degen type damage won't be affected.

Ok just to clarify here. When you use Avatar of Fire you can only deal fire damage right? So the 50% of your damage that isn't converted into fire damage just sits unused right?

You wont need that quiver if you want 100% fire dmg. Also it can be nicely buffed with 20/20added fire (added %of phys dmg applies before conversion, I think) or WED support

yes.Unless you use added fire damage or hatred to use some of it

But if you use Inferenal blow, or the previously mentioned quiver you might be able to achieve 100% conversion - include the templar WED node, lava lash node (30% increased weapon fire damage) and WED support and you have an huge damage potential (Added fire for even more fire damage and everything scales from physical damage as well...).

I totally forgot about added fire damage,but you would still lose the 50% physical that doesn't get converted if you use nothing but AoF
