Best hack and slash since diablo2

Regardless of what any of you say we'll see how many downloads this free game has compared to Blizzard's sales of D3. I can tell you now I'll be sitting back laughing that a free game can't even compare. AT ALL. Comparing POE to D3 is like when they say a college football team would beat an NFL team and all the PROFESSIONAL players come out of the woodwork laughing at the college argument and THEY WENT TO COLLEGE. This game is minor league. It's got some cute ideas and a skill tree that's WAY to big. None of the classes have any difference really from one to the next.

And since when did everything else mean more than the gameplay? I can get by with decent graphics and loot. What I can't stand is rubberbanding all night, servers dropping out, and dieing because of desync. That shits for indie developers not pro's. Oh wait that explains everything.

Plus whats with the little baby monsters all over POE. None of them seem epic. Vaals a damn vacuum for god's sake. Skeleton King model is sick as hell and D3 enemies have way better mods and mechanics. Just admit that you're angry at D3 because it wasn't what YOU wanted. ARPG's wouldn't even exist without the Diablo series. Quit smoking crack before you game.

Signed 750k DH shitting on you whiny ass kids.

I actually feel sorry for you in RL. Have fun with you game no one play. Btw I do understand some people enjoy d3 but some people also enjoy cutting themselves with razor blades or burning themselves. It doesn't mean its an enjoyable activity. It means they have a mental disorder.

You can take that however you like.

I enjoyed D3 more in terms of how the story was told to me. The combat feels a lot better, but after beating the game once...the game felt like an ocean with a depth of a puddle and there was no reason for me to play it through again.

POE in the other hand, gives me this insane amount of customization and a more darker tone than D3 or other recent ARPG's. POE's animations and combat feels a bit more sluggish, but the whole itemization, bartering system and dark atmosphere gives a fresh breath to the genre that I've wanted to feel. POE is far from perfect, but it is the best ARPG that has kept me hanging around since alpha. If POE2 is ever going to be a thing, I'm pretty sure it will buy GGG a seat next to Blizzard if anything.
If I'd ever got a chance to make a game, it would definitively not cater to the players that want the game to change instead of themselves improving in it.
