Eternal lab looks amazing and I for one wouldn't mind the new portal art or something similar making it's way into the release. Bout time the portals look less like a D2 copy and more like a PoE original.

Edit: No, beyond the fact that they both depict the solar system they are not similar.

And besides, I'm pretty sure the PoE lab was around before TL2 anyways...

As a question to add to the IIQ/IIR question, would it be possible to split IIR into "Increased Chance of finding Blue items", with a similar effect for rare and unique items, and have only high end uniques having chance to find unique with a massive drawback that could not easily be shrugged off? This means you have to specialize in a certain kind of item finding and could not just stack away.

If I wanted an instant 100 character, I'd hop over to Diablo II and crack out the Hero Editor.

Your comparison is completely flawed. A more accurate one would be to click a button inside a map and either have all of the monsters drop the best items or kill all the monsters on the current screen.

You're comparing 4 seconds against 4 months for someone who's entirely hardcore.

I guess someone hasn't heard of something as simple as convenience, not to mention some people actually risk crashing out of their game client when switching zones. During Anarchy, I crashed at least 3 times when I was zoning into town just so I could create a new Lab instance, which costs a LOT more than 4 seconds to re-open the client, re-login, then re-cast my auras.

Not to mention it'll take up LESS server resources since there won't be 7+ persisting (and empty) Lab instances per solo player, which could potentially help with keeping some of the lag down.

Seems Chris acknowledges that many builds will now be Scion mandatory if they cross the center. So I guess Vaal Pact CI and RF witches are screwed. (I have both):(
