4 Month league first char?

What classes/ builds are considered to be the best with fresh gear, lack of gems, and still can farm 70+ for currency and better items?

I am having a tough time deciding what to start out with once the game releases.

Do you recommend any sporker leveling guides?

sporker indeed,summoners,RoA,LA and split arrow also don't require too special gear and are safe to use

I'd wait to see what the new skill tree looks like while you're downloading the patch before you decide for sure. For now though, just look at the builds people use in races, especially the week-long ones. The same ones will probably be good at the start of a new season(since that's basically what a race is).

I'd say duelist offers the best options so far though. Depending on what items you find, there are a number of builds you could go with ranging from dual-wielding cleave to physical bow.

depends on league.

in HC - probably Sporker or other dual/triple-totem build, because they are the only ones who can afford going into high content with crappy gear, and they can stack tons of IIR/IIQ for farming to be effective.

in Standard, there are a couple of builds I can think of, including melee.

Dunno, I will probably start with a Cleaver myself. Don't like Sporkers.

Ill probably be going standard since Cable One seems to have periods of time where it will drop a few packets out of no where. Which has killed many of my hard core characters.
