Dweller of the Deep Quest

I can't seem to finish this quest. I killed the giant crab in Flooded Depths, but nothing happens. Not sure if its a bug or if I'm something wrong.

Did you get the [!] and the prompt to go back to town to talk to Tarkleigh? If you didn't, have you already tried to talk to Tarkleigh, anyway?
Exit, pursued by a Plummeting Ursa.

I accepted the quest already, and its in my map tab. When I kill the crab, nothing happens, no "!" pops up, just nothing. The quest is still in the map tab, unfinished.

Did you shatter the crab with Glacial Hammer, Infernal Blow or something similar?

Did it turn into the crustacean form?

you have to kill him dead which is a two step process so maybe you just relieved him of his shell...
1. first form is smak him till his shell falls off (lol) brutal but necessary 2. and then u kill the crab then you should get the end of the quest. Hope that helps :) |
