Rain of Arrows best AOE attack for bow?

I am assuming ROA is the best AOE attack for bow, if not, what AOE attack is better and what supports do you use with it? Right now I only have a 5L and have to use blood magic support, so I only have room for the attack and 3 supports.

RoA is safer than LA and also doubles as single target but LA is arguably the better AoE atack due to its innate properties and lmp/chain.

I really love Explosive Arrow for area damage. But RoA has a warm corner in my heart, I spent my first found exalt to buy 20% one ages ago :)

EA->Elemental Proliferation->Chance to Ignite->Fire Penetration->Concentrated Effect->Lesser Multiple Projectiles. That is what I use with my EA, sometimes I switch Fire Penetration with Item Quantity.

So if I were to use lightning arrow, lmp, and chain, what 1 other support would be good to use? Also, how is RoA safer?

I kinda like Ice Shot/LMP/Fork/Mana Leech. Works well for crowd control. It has the usual risks associated with Reflect, of course. =^[.]^=

it wont chain off screen and hit something with nasty reflect. However, that's only a concern if you are running glass cannon. With 77% lres 18% reflect isn't that big of a deal unless you are holding down a button...

I think using whatever chainable skill is better against reflect packs hidden offscreen.
The chain lessen the damage you take . With Roa it's easy to one shot yourself as it 's also a nice single target skill .
Better to have a single target powerful skill and an aoe with chain and lmp imo against reflect is less risky.

la chain dies fast vs thorns and reflect

They're both risky against reflect.

RoA is safer against lightning thorns though.
