The OP is quite crude, but his request for more male avatars is just as valid as requesting more female characters. Especially if that request was made by a female member of the community.

Supposing a thread was made requesting more female characters, would community members be in that thread attacking the OP for being "sexist"?

While I do agree that terms like racist, sexist, feminist and other -ists are quite often used the wrong way, I can't see how "They ruined the mage class by making it female" is not sexist. But perhaps I'm misunderstanding the concept of sexism.

Read the OP, how it is written in what manner. He could write this type of a request in a way so he doesn't look like a total jerk, especially as this is his first time post.

If you like it, or if you not - the openning post IS sexist. Add to that, GGG consider making D3 thingy and want to introduce "select gender" option at one point of time or another. Not now - release and all that little timeconsuming things.

Sadly for OP, there is no mage in PoE :'(, i would guess there is no real distinction between a witch and a mage other then the sex. GGG chose for a witch, a ranger could have been a hunter, a templar could have been a priestess, a marauder could have been a wooden skirt on methamphetamine, a duellist could have been a water dancer and a shadow could have been a ray of sunshine....
