How is it that so many of you have trouble with this sort of distinction? It makes me wonder just how rampant Aspergers really is.

It may be ridiculous, but my wife does not want to play, for the moment at PoE, because she wants to play a Shadow or Duelist, in women...
She does not like the Ranger (because (the head) it looks like the monk in D3...) :)

The ideal is to have the choice, everyone will be happy.

Then she waits GGG adds the option to play as a man or woman. Later... Maybe... Never...

She want to play a "laracroft" ;)

I have absolutely no desire to become a woman. But I definitely like looking at them. Not sure what kind of emasculated situation you live in where you feel ashamed or perverted for being a guy who likes looking at girls, but I feel bad for you.

Ya'll need to relax and play characters based on where they are in the tree.

Also, video games characters are not meant to be representations of you, they are meant to be representations of video games characters. You are controlling them on their journey, learning their story, and experiencing it with them. I suppose you don't watch movies or read books (I know, that's a stretch) with female/male characters because you don't get immersed?

you are the one puting sexuality in video game. You enjoy looking at boobs and ass? good for you, but then the caracter you are playing is just a "partner" for you.

The caracter i am playing is ME. Being a man, i like to imagine myself as a man, not a woman. I dont play with a partner, i play with myself. I think it s more a matter of lack of self projection into a virtual world.I can imagine I am the one killing those mobs,you can t and imagine it s your partner in crime doing it.

You can argue that, when u fwap on those moving pixels boobs/ass you also play with yourself in some ways.

Who is the most sexualy repressed here? the one thinking he is playing with a super-version of himself or the one thinking he is playing with a sexual attrative tool ?
