PvP - Block/Evasion/Resolute Technique
Ok, with Resolute tecnique, you can get your chance to hit to 100%.
But that should not ignore block or dodge chance. It is unfair for me as duelist for exemple, making a 75% block build. I´ve spent over 60 skill points to be able to get to 75% moving from duelist tree to ranger and to shadow, also walking a bit into marauder. I ended with 75% block chance, and 20% chance to evade, with no armor (passive), also used most of points in nodes making me with less hitpoints and less increased dmg. Then, all that hard work can be simple countered with only few points into marauder tree to get resolute technique and ignore everything making a 100% hit chance. RT, should only ignore miss chance from first random roll(that one that is usually capped at 95%). Then a new roll should happen to pass % block and % evasion. This way, pvp would be more balanced, giving to the right side of the skill tree some defense adjustment. Hope devs can take a look into here before the pvp release in next patch. "Resolute technique does not have, and has never had, any interaction with block. It means attacks always hit, not that they can't be blocked. Last edited by Mark_GGG#0000 on Oct 11, 2012, 11:40:51 PM

Thanks!
and how about evasion? RT hits can be evaded as well? |

" RT attacks cant be evaded. Its possible/likely they can be dodged, however (Acrobatics). IGN: KoTao

" In that case, RT would miss, but RT can't miss. Disregard witches, aquire currency.

Im lost, RT can or cannot be dodged with acrobatics?

My guess is that Resolute technique only skips the Accuracy vs Evasion roll.
Dodge and Block are separate mechanics. |

" Hence my above comment; dodge doesnt interact with the to-hit roll at all, so its entirely possible you can dodge restech attacks. Dev care to clarify? IGN: KoTao

Dodge is like a secondary layer of evasion. It counts as a miss when it comes into play, so I think RT overrides it.

Dodge isn't evasion though, Evasion is part of the To-Hit roll, Dodge comes after that.
