First of all, no. There are thousands more players of PoE than there are of Diablo 2. That's a fact.

PoE kicks the hell out of Diablo 2. It's also a better game. You claim D2 was better because it had a better dev team and more funds?

Ya, ok pal. That's why Battle.net was one long series of patches where the devs tried to play catch-up with the dupers and botters and hackers. There aren't any dupers on PoE.

I dont think PoE is better game than D2, just that I don't play D2 that much anymore because im bored of it (after many years.)

Xfire did shit on steam until valve improved it. Steam was universally hated when it came out and almost killed counterstrike and team fortress.

As far as xfire and diablo 2 goes, users/players of both are stuck in the year 2000 so it's fitting.

XFire is an outdated platform and is about 5 years after its peak. It is basically the old generation of what Steam is, although if I remember correctly it does have more detailed stats on games and players.... it's lost any luster it once had on modern gamers and especially new gamers. Personally I never used it all that much because I had no real use for it... I just used it in games where my in-game friends insisted that I did to make it easier to get together or whatnot. So basically XFire is an older generation Steam-like platform... but as I recall it never had nearly as many users as steam.

I played D2 to death, back in the day. I am now playing POE to death. POE (for me) is better in a lot of respects: the skill tree is much better, relies more on the ingenuity of the player rather than cookie cutter biulds. Although there are a few people on the web who think they know best about POE too...

D3 is dead as far as I am concerned. It got boring after my first char reached 60.

POE has much more playing time left in it and is far more interesting to play because its much more complex. Its the variation of character build, coupled with the itemisation complexity that makes this game the best of the 3 so far. .... and theres no gold, which is great!

The one thing on my wish list is that GGG keep this game complex, customizable and varied. In fact make it more complex, varied and customizable... please :D Don't do what bliz did with D3 and make it dull (tedious,deadly boring....gggggrrr).

I've had XFire installed approx 7 years ago.
I used it for maybe a week and since then i was always forgetting that it was installed.

Now 3 Computers later i don't even care that it even existed.
XFire is useless.

Edit: Who cares about playtime anyways, except some weird friends?

Xfire has more usage than just playtime... That's like saying Steam is only used for buying games.

But steam IS only for buying games.
