can be used, but you can also grab 1% life regen on the tree and get a pure ES shield with modifiers on skill tree

This is why that ring is going to be very, very expensive on standard. It would be unlikely I'd sell mine even for 15ex. Even though I'm not even using it atm. The ones in standard who want one are gonna have to fork over an exorbitant amount for one. Anyone running something like a low-life freeze pulser, is going to find that ring best in slot. The no mana regen can be overcome with mana leech.
