In general, I guess the shield is pretty bad. But for lowlife RF builds, Springleaf and Shav's are NEEDED to be able to survive anywhere with RF on (as for docks and lunaris, Shavronne's isn't necessary). So yes, it is good because of the 6% of your ES pool regen (not based on your life pool) when combined with Zealot's Oath.

and what are you gonna do about the mana, considering in tougher content you need to be recasting your totems all the time and cursing quite a bit.

hell you only need one
tbh you need neither the ring nor one of the 2 unique shields if you get a decent 600 es shield totaling about 5.5k+ es and have the 2 health regen nodes+vitality.

a 500 ES shield alone gives 950 ES if you head for zealots
the shield is really nice for any ES chars farming docks( just respec from ci for farming and go lowlife, pick up attunement and vuola) 6% regen is quite powerfull and makes farming really easy id preffer this shield over 200-300 es shield anytime(springleaf costs like 2 alchemy orbs so its good choice for beginner docks farmer)

This is why that ring is going to be very, very expensive on standard. It would be unlikely I'd sell mine even for 15ex. Even though I'm not even using it atm. The ones in standard who want one are gonna have to fork over an exorbitant amount for one. Anyone running something like a low-life freeze pulser, is going to find that ring best in slot. The no mana regen can be overcome with mana leech.

also thing ring is a bit special, it works in Stasis(no life regen/no mana regen) maps
