Few questions about MF Summoner

Montreguls is overrated. I know a few summoners that had high hopes for it and have now ditched it. I've been told that zombies are basically really bad melee spectres. Spectres do more dmg than zombies ever could even with montreguls. You're better off using a midnight bargain.

If you got 4 titty bitches with GMP, just them alone is gonna be cleaning rooms out. Zombies are just meat shields to protect your specters.

Yeah... no. 4 snapshot Mon'tregul zombies with 20/20 faster attack 20/20 multistrike 20/20 melee splash 20/20 zombie in a +2 zombie helm is insane even in high level maps. They have insane survivability plus you can still raise 4 normal zombies. For hardcore, 3 spectres + 4 Mon'tregul zombies + 4 normal zombies + skele tottem = GG.

So you swap out montreguls to cast 4 more zombies? I didn't actually look at it that way before, if so, then there is no reason not to use this item if you use zombies.

Precisely. My Mon't is on my offhand. Very easy to do in maps and keep up with people.

Even in 77 maps with bad mods and a full party, my Mon't zombies rarely die.

Does the added zombie damage apply to the other 4 zombies if you swap back to montreguls after you cast them?
If you switch back after you have 8, it kills off 4 of them and takes it back to 4. So no, that doesn't work. The normal zombies are snapshots of how you raised them, so if you don't raise a zombie with Mon't on, it doesn't have the buffs.

Culling Strike is if YOU want to last hit. If you last hit using Culling Strike you lose the IIQ/IIR linked to Zombies.

Since he has IIR&IIQ linked to culling and arc, there is no reason not to want to get last hit.

He is linking IIQ and IIR to Zombies. "The reason being is I have IIQ (and will probably 6L soon to get IIR) attached to my zombies, "
Crafting doesn't exist in POE. Gambling does...and the house always wins.

Velocireptile - I LOL'ed. Which made me fart. I wish the office were empty right now :(

Hardlicker - I had to push the dog out of the way so I could get to the sexy quilt.

I'm actually linking IIR/IIQ to both Culling Strike and Zombies.

And thanks for the mon't advice, Fluffhead. That's awesome.
Then leave Culling Strike on Arc :)

Np. If you're soloing, zombies will be fine for culling, in groups it's a little more tricky. Mon't zombie explosion wave culling might be pretty good.

If you end up not liking it, just play your summoner like normal and try firestorm>culling>iiq>iir. People balk at the idea, but it works very well. In groups a little faster casting will help the firestorm cull magics/rares, but solo you'll be fine without it.

3. How do I get my minions to attack a specific target?

You can't.

You can by attacking the target (with a skill like Arc for example, or simply with your wand).. Cursing it works too
