The Goddess Unleashed - Released with the Game release?

I just read a little bit more on vendor recipes to help improve my currency and I learned a lot more about "The Goddess Trilogy". After reading the in depth creation and back story of "The Goddess Bound" and "The Goddess Scorned" Along with this little tid bit:

Oh yes, there will be more riddles. At the very least, Charan's third sword, The Goddess Unleashed will need a recipe... and a dastardly, mind-bendingly cryptic riddle to go with it. It'll need to be a lot tougher that this first one, that's for sure.

I know I'm really looking forward to it, and I hope y'all are, too.

It got me thinking. Do you think they will release the new recipe with the release of the game?
probably :D , it would be so effing cool if they like included the riddle in the release trailer :D :D :D

It seems doubtful that Unleashed will be in the launch, unfortunately.

I think Charan said it won't be ready for release

I can honestly say that Unleashed won't be in before release. I think she'll be one of the more ambitious uniques, and in more ways than one. Topping Scorned is gonna be tough.

I don't know all he says is before release. Nothing about after:
I hope its at least a GGS unique weapon, then I might actually consider using it.

Charan is this going to be the Soul Taker of swords?

I see it in the eyes of men and beasts that i troll. It will take me to play the actual game when i am ready and i am not ready.

I despise Soul Taker and spent almost an hour telling the dev who designed it why. In person.

His defence that 'you can roll a much better rare' was sufficient from a design perspective but woefully inadequate from an economic perspective -- it's so much easier to type 'wtb Soul Taker' than 'wtb Siege Axe with (list godly properties here)'.

I don't know what GGS stands for but if you're saying Soul Taker is GGS, then The Goddess Unleashed won't be that.

If anything, she's going to be the weakest of the three in pure numbers relative to her level (with The Goddess Bound being the strongest relative to appropriate level, by far).

I could easily design a blatantly badass, uninspired sword but would not be proud of it. More importantly, I wouldn't be doing the concept of the Goddess justice if I were to do that.

But I promise she will be an excellent upgrade for those who have wielded Bound and Scorned. But for those who build for Scorned specifically (capitalising on the burn factor), I would say they're likely better off sticking with Scorned.

And no, not before Release. Rory hasn't even commented on the item's google doc in ages. I suspect he's extremely busy with other things.

Please remember I'm not designing this for you. Or for anyone who has not been a fan of the Goddess so far. Sorry.

I'd prefer the Soul Taker of swords to be honest.

Your item can be badass and inspired at the same time, I feel like you're implying that Soul Taker isn't badass, and that the goddess bound/ the goddess scorned aren't already blatantly badass.

I'll check all the reasons why I think your precious Goddess is already blatantly badass but still highly inspired;

Unique Modifier found nowhere else in the game? Faster Burning. Check.
IMBA 100% Phys to Fire? Check.
LOL T1 Fire Resistance? Check!
100% Ignite Immunity? Check!
Weapon with Highest Crit Chance for lvl 28 pvp? Check.
Gimmicky downside? 1-H no shield weapon. Check.

Ofcourse I should have just linked the item, you're probably well aware of all the awesomeness that revolves around this sword.

What's my point?

Well.

I really don't want any more horrible unique swords.

There's far too many unique swords already that I wouldn't scratch my butt with, and I know it's in poor taste to talk down about uniques because they're people too T_T... but the fact is that some of them are just ridiculous and are never going to help anyone overcome the challenges in the game .

With Oro's and Hyaon's being the "closest" to build enabling/GoodInSlot but unfortunately so very defensive crippling and sub-optimal offensively unique sword-options that don't scale with most of the swords nodes, I'm finding it increasingly harder to appreciate people's love for Theme and their Artistic Delight that borders on the selfish side of satisfaction when there's a need for strong swords out there..

So pardon me if I don't thank you right away for creating this imaginative theory that you're not selling out because you refuse to create a desirable and/or good item design?

I mean like... The only arguement would be that of class with playboy and sports illustrated. It's all porn with a good enough imagination, but you're never gonna have that good enough imagination if you never got the actual porn.

How about some actual porn?

In conclusion, you might not be making the sword for me, but either way, people are going to get off to your babe no matter what you do to try to make her your own.

the only thing i hope is that the sword is worth the hassle of the recipe which mean that depending the recipe its need to be endgame viable(event if its gimmick)

and if its not, the recipe need to be easy to do else your sword will fall into dust (who will get through the pain of making it only for leveling).

(I'm not speaking about pvp here).
