Starvation Level

I would name it this because if this game is as fun to play as I think it might be (DL now), then I'm probably going to be hungry a lot, saying things to myself like, "I'll get some food after clearing just one more area."

Then of course I'll just keep clearing areas, and pretty soon I'll be experiencing "Starvation"

I think it would be cool if people thought about the names of the difficulty levels as being a reflection of how Wraeclast is while playing each one...

Heartless- unfeeling; unkind; unsympathetic; harsh; cruel.

Cruel- willfully or knowingly causing pain or distress to others. (This could be substituted for merciless, also).

Iniquity/Iniquitous- gross injustice or wickedness/morally wrong or grossly unfair.

Sadistic- deriving pleasure from humiliating or causing physical or psychological pain to others.

I feel that in the order listed it is a nice progression from something that is mean (heartless), to something that is trying to hurt you (cruel), to something that is almost wrong and unfair to go up against (iniquitious). Finally, this new difficulty would be so hard, so degrading, that it is like Wraeclast itself is laughing at your every failure and mistake *insert sinister laugh*.


By the way, thank you guys so much for making this game. I just discovered it yesterday, but I plan to "pre-purchase" soon!

It is moving to 3 difficulties in open beta. Normal, Hard and Hardest (not those names though, they'd be too awesome!!!)

I, too, did not read all the pages... so I'm thinking (or supporting if someone already posted)

normal - whelp
hard - veteran
hardest - diabolic

Just a little nod there
