Why are Alchemy Orbs devalued?

Yep. People definitely missing a trick with alcs. Pick up all white 4L boots, gloves, helms (high ilevel) and alc for (potentially) instant 5 chaos item or nice upgrade. If it sucks just vendor, or save for vendor recipe.

Yeah, now is a great time to buy alch orbs. Someone decided to spam chat that they were undervalued and it took off.
Buy buy buy...
Then either use, or re-sell when people realize that they didn't actually drop in value or utility.


One other thing... There is a load of new content coming out and some people are speculating that there will be higher ilevel base items. That means alchs will be in demand once act 3x drops. So get ready.

It's a matter of utility.

Look at divines vs exalts.

It has been stated that divine orbs are rarer than exalts. Despite the scarcity of divines, they are less valuable simply because even though they are rare, they are less useful than exalts - they have lower demand.

Even if chance orbs drop at roughly the same rate as fusings, they are less useful and have lower demand.

Sellers tend to value alchs at 3:1 or 2:1 chaos, whereas buyer value them at 4:1. Personally, I think they're crap, so I avoid them in any currency exchange.

Alchemies are great to roll low-level maps (68-70) for example). You dont need chaos or scouring reroll for those maps, really, alchemies and merging only will be enough.

Also, i dont know why, but you can buy alchemy+scouring cheaper than 1 chaos, and use them instead of chaos. Dont tell me that orb of chaos is crap, that is absolutely wrong.

I will take all your alchs, I love em. Maps, high value whites. I just alch the hell outta whites.

when ppl sell alch for low price, i buy them and alch whites. i love alch orbs
