Voice acting, very nice... but

Hey, ive been looking forward to the voice acting and i think it is really good. Firstly, the personality in the voice acting is quite good, the high and low volume, tone and the passion.

A few things that could be improved (in my opinion) are as follows.

With the music i found it diffucult to hear some of the voice acting in act1, i think maybe the music should be dulled down while the voices are being heard.

I also noticed that helena's voice is much louder than the others.

other than that, from someone who has been looking forward to it, you did not dissapoint. (was curious to see if they all had NZ accents but they dont, interesting though, maybe wreclast is actually NZ in an alternate reality? lol)

LOL I was thinking the same thing too, wondering if they were all going to have NZ accents. And also about wraeclast being the alternate reality of NZ haha.

Very good job on the VA, but I agree with SiltenOmens points

Id like to see some basic directions and greetings that we can say to other characters, probly more just a bit of fun than anything useful but you never know, in counter strike its faster to use the voice presets than to type it...

I have another critique of the voice acting implementation, i have just been searching for RGB linked in the vendors, and i tell you hearing "Still alive are we" is starting to wear thin, maybe Tark could have a maximum of one of those per minute? for those who are going to him then to nessa then back, then to stash and back....

Nessa's "Mmhm" is perfect i think.

I can pick out at least 3 or 4 NZ accents. (I'm also a NZer)

I've been lucky enough to experience the new VOs in Alpha before the Beta release, but teh missus just got to hear 'em this weekend for the first time. She loves the new voices, but wants to hear Silk's.

She says his voice has to be "sexy." Not exactly as she phrased her request, but I wouldn't want to embarrass anybody. =~[.]^=

I dun care for Nessa's little voice-clearing; sounds like "Nuh-uh." In fact, her voice comes across as a little... flat... at times. I'm still wondering if this is the same actress we heard in the Witch trailer. Now that was a great performance!

The VO I found most impressive was Captain Fairgraves', in the Ship Graveyard. It's a shame that most players are likely too busy gearing up for a fight to appreciate it at its finest moment. ='[.]'=

I for one, am in love with Nessa's voice. At times you can hear her smile and other times you can hear the melancholia. Her voice is rather flat, but it's oh so subtle. Her voice kind of reminds me of Keira Knightley actually.

As for the voice clering.. I have no idea where you get 'nuh-uh' from, lol. It sounds just like someone clearing their throat to me. Then there's Nessa's 3 other sounds. Her 'MmHmm?', as if you've just roused her from a daydream, her other 'Mmhmm?', as if she's very busy and you're annoying her or keeping her from something and then the other 'Mmhmm?' which is more of a regular 'What can I do for you?'. At least.. that's what I get out of it all, heh.

I don't think it's the same actress in the witch video though. I could be wrong, but the voice in the trailer has a much thicker aussie/kiwi accent(I can't tell the two apart most of the time).

Ahhh.... Silks voice.

Any news on Silk ?
Seems like he has been forgotten...

A necromancer should have a very interesting voice :P
