Exalting = shit
ring was definitely good enough for eternaling. Attack speed is a really hard to get mod

saying this you imply the use of 4-5 serieses of eternals = 20-25 exalts at least. The question is when do you get happy when using eternals? Will 26 cold res be enaugh? Will 32 strength be enaugh? If not you are probably going to spend much more than 4-5 eternals. If yes you spend 4-5 eternals just for avoiding total shit rolls like what I got here and still end up with medium results.
I was not so sure about it. Last edited by LSN#3878 on Sep 11, 2013, 10:22:45 PM

" I would have eternaled once, then exalt twice if it's an item which i would be using. If i get bad rolls (low tier/undesirable mods) i'll reroll the item later when I find more currency. The point is to keep the possibility of reexalting open, never know if eternal/exalt drop rates will be increased or new orbs introduced into the game. | |
You're a fool if you even think about crafting unless you got a few hundred exalts and dozens of eternals to burn. For every 1 person that gets lucky, there are 20 others who get burned by the RNG. Don't tempt RNGesus when rolling items with exalts.... Because he might decide he hates you today, and you won't get what you're looking for no matter how many exalts/eternals you burn.

Exalted dex (I already had 300+ and I'm using iron reflex) and ES (I'm playing life). Really anything would be better, I almost unistalled the game. |

" That's a shame. From a cost point of view, why did you Exalt your amulet in the first place though? I believe you could have found a less expensive one for the price of an Exalt. The chance to Vaal +1% maximum resists on an amulet is less than 1/300.

" You tempted the RNG and you got burned. If that cost you a decent chunk of your stash, then it wasn't a very bright idea at all. That makes about as much sense as someone taking the last $10000 they have and hitting the slot machines, and if they go broke, they jump out the hotel window. Just like with slot machines, the RNG is designed where most people are going to get burned. Its a fact. I'm not even brazen enough to temp the RNG to 6L an item, and wouldn't in my wildest dreams ever tempt RNG with exalts and eternals. Why? Because I know for a fact I'll get burned. There is no ifs ands or buts about it. I'd rather pay 20ex for a 6L item than tempt the average of over 700 fusings it takes to 6L an item (Which means a lot of people got burned for 1500-3000 fusings and no 6L). I agree that the coral he has was awesome. 101 life, 7% AS.. Really nice, I understand the point about eternals too, that's a difficult decision. DLkY makes a good point in his last post, although I don't know what I would do personally. I'm glad I'm not rich enough to use exalts yet, they just look pretty for now.

" There ya go, list of amulets with at least 60 life, 20 rarity, 3% life steal http://poexplorer.com/misc_searches/0xpbj3trkz or http://poe.xyz.is/search?league=Standard&type=Amulet&mods=%23%25+of+Physical+Attack+Damage+Leeched+as+Life&modmin=3&modmax=+&mods=%2B%23+to+maximum+Life&modmin=60&modmax=+&mods=%23%25+increased+Rarity+of+Items+found&modmin=20&modmax=+&time=2013-09-05 Yes it's empty. To be honest this amulet starting stats were superior, and rolling all res or IIQ or IIR would make it a beast. Life leech is extra rare mod. 60 Life mod not so rare but it's prefix just like life leech, so having both of these mods are very hard. Top rarity mod (23% from 21-26 range) is also rather rare. 6 Life gain on kill, oh well it always could be worse. There was 1 prefix and 1 suffix slot. Now imagine that I rolled +20% IIQ and +24% item rarity, or +16% all res and 36% WED, then you wouldn't even question the value of pre-rolled item. ilvl was 75+ (dropped at baazar). It was exalt worthy, thanks. Last edited by CookieVortex#2622 on Sep 11, 2013, 11:17:54 PM
