I wish PoE was like Titan Quest
in that you could see monsters wearing Legendary or Unique items.
I love the fact that in TQ (and in TQ's spiritual successor Grim Dawn) when you come across a monster using a big shiny sword you knew it was going to drop something special. I think it would add an extra dimension to PoE if the same thing was possible. I'd love to see a skelly wearing a Kaom's Heart or Tabula Rasa or Alpha's Howl or using a Death's Harp Bow. Ascension tied to Lab is the worst thing GGG has done...apart from GGG's philosophy on Trading. Oh and Gambling Loot boxes. And selling out to tencent. I used to love GGG. The mechanic is different for POE. In Titan Quest, the loot is already generated upon the monster creation. While in POE, the loot drops are only generated by the time the monster dies and it's affected by the IIQ/IIR of the final blow.
Pants are for nephalem, we are exiles, we do not need pants.

I love the concept not only from a cool and realistic prospective, but also because it corresponds with a notion of "risk and reward" - which PoE replaced with dumb randomness, just like those D2 "lol moments" when a swarm of flies dropped a piece of heavy armor. I wish GGG do this, but I'll understand if they don't. it looks like a headache to implement, and it's too late anyway. Alva: I'm sweating like a hog in heat

Harder monsters?
Bring 'em on! I mean, it does not have to drop uniques, but something special / following a pattern? It's harder on the one side, but gives you sweet loot "in advance", since it's visible. IIR and IIQ may still affect this, but it's something more generic imho. IGN: WildTortillaFart

And one more very important point about this is:
Look at the rate GGG is churning out 3D arts for unique items. I estimate it's going to take.... 5 years? to just reach the state where unique items all have their own 3D arts. Pants are for nephalem, we are exiles, we do not need pants.

the server giving the client the information which monster will drop a certain item will bring more incentives to use/create client programs analyzing the stream which will show you worthwhile kills while rushing levels.
titan quest's online game was hacked alot which was the main reason i quit playing it. age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!
