Diablo 3 already started killing PoE

Quick, some1 open a Kickstarter !

And i dont think our exorzist knows about the dangers of Diabetes,
actually its one of the main reasons for reallife developers to die.
When the reallife developers die, who is going to code the game ?

Somehow, all this talk of Diabetes reminds me of this:

Hey Exorzist, want to be the villain in the third mooned saga? I already too far into the second to put you in meaningfully, but the Third: Revenge of the Mooned, is just forming in my head.

And stop interrupting the discussion about my diabetes please.

Thank you!

Back on topic - what are the better ways of testing blood sugar levels? I see all the commercials, but it's really hard to make an informed decision off of them. I tried researching, but again, hard to tell. Some real world opinions would help.

Right now: PoE is a 10 and D3 is a 4

D3 promises to be a 14 once RoS with all the new stuff comes out.

But till then PoE will be a 16 minimum.

So PoE will still be better.

Just my estimation.

@exorzist: you always talk about how blizzard already fixed ALOT of D3s problems. Could you please tell me what they fixed?

My father has Diabetes. I feel a bit responsible, we always gave him sweet stuff on his birthday etc....

I'm still learning myself about Type 2 and I still have to go for another fasting blood work to determine if I can control it by diet alone. I fucking hate needles and glad that if I do have to take medicine, it will be in pill form.

As to testing the blood sugar. I wish I knew. I don't look forward to pricking myself everyday, or couple of hours. I'm not squeamish. I've seen way too much of my own blood were it does not belong, but I rather give pain a miss and just eat better and exercise.
[LOL]
I neither want to waste money with D3 nor time with POE. Both are broken.
[/LOL]

Seriously, I'm off to FF XIV.

Because the chances are way higher that Blizzard will deliver with RoS what they have promised. And looking at all the footage and infos we got so far confirms that RoS, together with loot 2.0, paragon 2.0, loot runs, nephalem trials (and probably also will ladders) will enhance vanilla d3 so drastically that d3 will be a totally new experience. just like LoD was for d2. why I am so sure? the release of RoS is at least 6 months away. probably even more.

but PoE's so called "release" is only one month away.

and lets be honest here. since poe hit open beta, nothing really changed in this game. yes, they added a few skills here and there. and some (useless) uniques. some new race types. changed the skill tree n stuff. but the core problems werent adressed. not even until today.

everybody praises the skilltree being the #1 factor for so many players to play poe. but lets be honest here, too. yeah the skilltree looks amazing at first. but at a second look everybody tries to copy established builds. so in the end, everybody plays a build which has already been successful. or do you know somebody who uses all block nodes? what about the 4x 10% armor nodes next to vaal pact? anybody playing with swords and took sword nodes?

and what about life vs ES? its still unbalanced. for over one year. most of the new skills are totally uselss as some of them actually supports dsynch. and dont let me start on dsync. its still not fixed ... what about crafting in poe? its totally a waste of time and currency. you are better of trading. too much RNG going down in crafting. too many people frustrated.

what about melee? its still not viable compared to ranged ...

so the main question is. do you really believe that after release of poe all those things will be fixed with just one month left, when they couldnt fix it for over one year? probably not.

but what about d3? blizz already fixed A LOT of their problems. GGG didnt fix any of those mentioned above. and blizz has more than 6 months left to adress the rest of the d3 problems.

poe has only one month ..

in the end ... i believe the chances are higher that blizz will fix their game and GGG will not. maybe another year from now GGG will be able to fix them, but then again, the game will be dead by then 100% because the problems mentioned above are the main concerns why people leave ...

So your argument is they have time? Top lel. It took them ~10 years to shit out vanilla D3. What kind of an argument is that anyway? Btw PoE was a way better game than D3 even in closed beta. You act like PoE is broken in the same way D3 is, kind of silly. Minor balancing issues =/= shitty core game design. Blizzard North is dead. The current Blizzard can't make D3 good, at least not for D2 fans and hardcore ARPG gamers.
GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.
