Lvl 72 Jungle Valley map boss overtuned!

Not sure why everyone seems to want to pile up on the OP and dissect his build. It's almost completely missing the point.

The devs still consider the game to be in beta. Betas thrive on feedback. The critical piece of feedback in the original post was that the Jungle Valley boss was ridiculously harder than other bosses of comparable level.

GGG openly proclaims to support build diversity. If they do that, then what does it matter if someone has built slightly glass cannon when the critical piece of information under scrutiny is that at least one serious player has noticed a wildly disproportionate difficulty spike? OP says all other map bosses are cake compared to Jungle Valley boss.

I haven't played Jungle Valley myself, either before or after 11.4, but I do know that I am completely against disproportionate difficulty spikes unless they're broadcast pretty clearly beforehand. Vaal Oversoul is a bit of a good example - his difficulty spike isn't even disproportionate, but you still get a nice epic lead-in with three (!) floors of pyramid in one instance, then a long-winded summoning animation to let you know that yes, you are going to fight something really deadly.

Build means everything here - some people are breezing through this map like nothing ever changed. If you are glass cannon, you are going to have some issues at endgame, in this game. So it would make certain claims about certain encounters being difficult a bit ... not necessarily illegitimate, but they can't be taken up from that player's experience alone.

Build diversity doesnt mean all builds are equally competitive or viable at endgame.

Stop this sc vs hc bullshit, hc players alt - f4 all the time, there is nothing of an accomplishment in that either.

OP post build, by 'a bit fragile' in this game i assume glass cannon

@QQ: Right now this it the only boss in this game that is easy for melees and hard for ranged chars. Where the fuck is the problem? There are 58 different maps out there and only ONE out of these 58 maps can not be facerolled by ranged chars, I'm sure this is a big issue! *facepalm*

Multiple people are agreeing that the new boss is disproprtionately difficult.

It's up to GGG to decide whether that means it needs adjusting or not.

Do you think GGG would marginalize the feedback of numerous players who agree that Jungle Valley provides a difficulty spike that sticks out like a sore thumb, just because of the builds they chose?

Sometimes "numerous" is not the point. I think about 95% of the players high enough for doing 70+ maps are ranged classes nowadays in poe. So of course 1 map that is heavy for ranged classes gets more QQ than countless maps that are hard for melee.

I have 5,5k hp and 5k armor, and i used granite flask when i entered, got like 20 blue spiders and 3 yellow flickering on me, did not even have a time too blink, the boss is not as hard itself. It's the goddamn flickering spiders, hurts like hell.
