View other player's gears/stats
This is one of the functions I enjoy in mmos that poe is missing. Have a view gear/stat button when you right click on other people's character. This allow players to measure their own progression in the game compared to other players/rivals. I believe this would also motivate everyone in terms of competition.

You don't need an inspect option. You just need to ask.

ask? whats that? :o

I would like the option of allowing people to see my gear/tree.
Like Rice and FSG demonstrated some people would be extremely against people snooping what sort of build they had, so the default would have to be off. PvP players especially might closely gaurd their build/gear. But it would be a nice option IMO when you see a particularly bad ass looking person in town to inspect them. In Wraeclast, if someone tries to kill you... you just kill them right back.

+1 for Trapperkeepers option suggestion.

ok, not the passive tree, just viewing gears is cool. No harm in just viewing gears. Its not like we can copy the gears especially if the player is brolic, mayb in the long run, but we are all building for better gear anyway. i would like to view the gears of some brolic people in town and i believe people wouldn't mind showing it off. I know i wouldnt, would b nice to show it off and compare. @Rice i don't think asking is sufficient and who would actually go through the hassle of showing their gear to a stranger.

A thread like this pops up at least once a week. The answer is always the same.
NO -1 stop over moderating that makes the official forums useless
