Well the graphics are certainly a problem here. The Witcher 2 dont stress my computer like PoE :)

That's a joke, right?

Please don't use gamebooster. And as another poster mentioned, your laptop is pretty old for gaming.

To the other poster: there is no way this game burned your card out. Unless.of course you didn't have a fan profile set and adequate cooling.

This game is more taxing on a CPU than GPU. Loads my 2500k @ 4.5 to full usage on one core. The others hover low.

And yes, they haven't gotten to the optimization stage yet.

The witcher 2 and crysis both run WAY better ( both on uber settings ) than PoE on my lap top. PoE runs well on my lap top but sometimes i get poor frame rates ( excluding the start of fight fps dump )

My tower runs it fine witch is odd since it is, from a teck standpoint, much less geared than my laptop ( 4870 x2 is tower, 1 580 in laptop ) kind of odd.

GGG fine tuning will probley help alot. Closed beta for testing not polish. The game is probley just taxing dew to the fact it has not been to the show and shine yet.
Just a sec let me grab a beer...@#*@ Ok how did I die this time

Learn the rules, it's the only way to exploit them.

PoE strains my gpu harder than witcher 2 does.
That's pretty crazy. I've got a system running an old 8800GTS ( 512MB version, not the ol' 320/640 version ) that run PoE maxed at high res silky smooth. Meanwhile, The Witcher 2 at the same resolution ( 1920 x 1200 ) has problems on much more powerful hardware from both team green and team red. The Witcher 2 stutters on the GTX 260, and the HD6950 when cranked up.

So far as I've been able to tell on the large number of systems I've run both games on they aren't even in the the same league when it comes to stressing a GPU. I don't know how to explain how you two have such different results! Can't imagine driver versions would make THAT much of a difference.
