Graphic Engine too heavy ?

Hi everyone, i've bought PoE months ago, but is too heavy to run in my notebook :

PACKARD BELL - LJ65-CU-042IT Easynote
Notebook Intel Pentium T4500 (2.30Ghz), Ram 4096Mb DDr3, Hard Disk 320Gb, scheda grafica NVidia GeForce G 210M 512Mb, display 17,3" WXGA GLARE 1600x900, DVD+-RW Dual Layer, Lan 10/100, WIFI N, HDMI, 4x USB, VGA, card reader 5in1. Windows 7 Premium 64 Bits

I think that game's developers can help notebook users enabling some Low Video Options.. Can it be possible ?

In this notebook i can run Left4Dead2, Guild Wars 2 (30fps), Killing Floor, League Of Legends without problems (40-60fps around), it's strange for a game like this, getting only 20 to 30 fps..

I switched off all nvidias settings, downloaded game booster, waited months hoping getting some Graphic Improvements.. but it's still too heavy, help notebook users !!! :(

There are a number of options you can turn down in-game, though I assume you've done this.

Your laptop is a bit of a light-weight for gaming and it may be time for an upgrade if you're not happy with 20-30fps, though that's playable enough in my opinion.

That said, I believe GGG has mentioned that they haven't gotten to the optimization stage yet.. perhaps we'll all experience better graphics performance at some point after they have.
Well i understand,

But the boring thing is that the game is playable with any stutters/dropfps/problems in some areas.

I would suggest to developers for improve much better the game experience (with low pc and notebooks) some tips. Hoping if they can optimize and be enable some video options :

- Texture filter low (from medium-high only)

- Light Refractions/Shaders turnable to off/low (I can see fps drops when facing the water reflecting lights, or facing a big number of creatures that got this kind of refractions on their model bodies, or for example rock enviroments full of refractions, or the shiny Ship Graveyard area floor that drastically drop my fps)
Sorry i'm not expert to tell you if it's Refractions, Bump Mapping, or Shaders :)

- Disable some enviroments Animations (Like the first beach stage's moving grass; moving sea water;little green floating lights in ship graveyard, rain effect) Can be useful to gain some fps

- Enable a low quality particle effects, (I remember my Poison Arrow's Cloud effect with Ranger, that was very heavy as other skills, i can think these kind of effects can be made with less quality

Maybe you can find me arrogant asking you to work more than you doing, but i'm SURE, these 4 options, if enable, can open an opportunity to play with low pc/notebooks to a lot of people with good fps.

I really hope developers can consider this.
I forgot..

- Geometry/Model Quality set on Low Option !

Would be awesome..
Well the graphics are certainly a problem here. The Witcher 2 dont stress my computer like PoE :)

Turn off shadows. Works like a charm for me :)

I'm using a decent setup, but had a few stuttering issues. After I turned them shadows off everything went almost as smooth as silk(only internet lag now).
now the rest should make a post " graphic engine too light" :D
i wouldn't mind dynamic light and shadows ... perhaps even HDR.
dam I hope we don't all end up with stick figures!

your problem is your nvidia 210 card as it is the lowest-end graphics accelerator from the 200 series . seriously mate but that card sucks and dont be fooled by it having 512mb vram as low end cards often have way more vram than it is powerful enough to even think of getting any use from .
It is important too understand that the choices we make are most often not between good and bad but between bad and worse.
yeap simply the fact that its "newer" doesnt mean its good... many 600 series cards fail to match for example 8800GT - 7 years old.

but i guess it IS too gfx heavy lol -_- my card burned :/ time for new one.. can i please get dynamic lightning for PoE with my new card pretty please? :D
