The level 75 WALL
omg you speak the truth PoE should release statistics on all players who have 'stopped; playing before lvl 75 lol I bet 95% of players have characters that are below 75. 75 is just a HUGE wall... i have so many characters in the low 70's its not funny The rest of the 'end-game' content will be available along with a heap of new stuff when the game launches in a few months time. From what I've seen it's going to be awesome. - Michael_GGG

" I dont think 75 is huge wall, it's still soloable to level to 83, at catacombs/lunaris. but 83+= need to group up. most people quit because they refuse to group up or want to spend ridiculous amount of currencies in map. My Craft Logs-thread/359202

hmm i get 1 bar for a 68 map considering how easy i fly through those maps it will take me 20 low lvl maps to get a lvl i think thats ok for 80
i think the real grind starts past 85 when you have to keep up a constant pool of 70+ maps btw some misconceptions here partyplay doesnt mean more exp each map it just means that you divide the cost to roll maps which allows to run more effective maps https://poe-ssf.herokuapp.com/. " Yup, the wall hit me at that point ( I am already at 85 though) when doing Lunaris 2&3 and up to lvl 70 maps. It is a pain to get higher maps to drop unless you make the maps have really harsh conditions, and/or form a group, so all the maps drop on you. Otherwise, you have to depend on other individuals that happen to have 73+ maps drop like wet flies. Sometimes you can take the game out of the garage but you can't take the garage out of the game. - raics, 06.08.2016 Last edited by JohnNamikaze#6516 on Aug 17, 2013, 6:38:40 AM

Well, obviously the wall gets bigger and bigger the higher it goes, but you really start to sense it around the mid 70's, at least me anyway.

Nothing wrong with calling that your end, and roll up another character.

The fun in the game is the effort it takes to get those next levels. I have to run hundreds of maps for a single level. It's definitely a lot of effort and I'm not even leveling once a week now do to time permits, but that's what I find enjoyable about the game and GGG seems to agree with me at least some (it was their design, not mine). If you don't enjoy all the time and effort to gain just 1 more level there is nothing wrong with making a new character or farming on the one you have. I am very happy though that they have made it so difficult to get to 100 because it shouldn't be something you can just do, you should feel like you've earned it. All this time and only 1 person has ever done it. How boring will it be when there are thousands of level 100s, which will be the case when higher level areas are introduced.

" You got questions........ I got answers. http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/445395 There would still be the issue of gear, but that is what ARPGs are all about. |

The level 75 wall for me is lvl 81. That's when leveling really starts to slow down. My motivation is simply to try and sustain a higher and higher map pool. It's pretty fun and exciting tbh, I don't mind the grind either.
Also what slider said. The leveling process just playing through the game should be fun on its own. Sometimes when I'm bored of mapping I try to come up with a build specifically designed to be able to beat the game solo, fast and efficient. Those builds are usually trash for end-game but very good for leveling solo. Pants of Textile Last edited by nikals#4625 on Aug 19, 2013, 6:57:46 AM
