Something tells me that most posts in this thread are from bitter people who never had a Razer mouse.

Death adder is 60$ and while not $100, laughing at the price is pointless. They have functions a normal mouse doesn't. Also, they curve with your hand to where your hand rests on the mouse versus holding the mouse.

Its like kia rio vs honda civic. Sure both are cars, but come on...

i assume you mean how the lights on your £100 mouse ensure you will be a virgin forever

i use a a4tech mouse that cost around 25 Euros and i do map some of my active skills on some characters to the MMB, and it's still fine. I've been playing every day since OB and i also tend to press hard

Slightly related note, anyone here found a non-Razer mouse that would really be able to replace a Naga for those of us that love them? I was looking at the Logitech G600 myself for if my current mouse dies like the last one did (second Naga, last stopped working properly less than a month after the warranty ended due to the double-click issue Nagas apparently get), but that's hopefully a ways off.

It'd be VERY hard for me to use a mouse that doesn't have something like the twelve hotkeys on the side - I use them for everything, from FPS (weapon swapping made easy) to MMOs to programming (why type, for example, System.out.println(""); every time when you can just have it macroed and fill in the blank?).

I even have trouble playing PoE without my Naga. :P

I have trusted Logitech since the early 90's. During that time i have purchased three mice. All were solid, accurate, and take some aggressive poundings from frustration. To this day i still refuse to buy anything but a corded mouse.

I have heard some horror stories about Razors gear. But never tried one.

people use middle click for anything?

If I ever need to replace my G5 r2, it will be with the new Logitech G500s. I've been using my G5 for 6 years, it's rugged. I could eventually replace the cord for $6, but I just repaired it and it works perfectly. The G500s has one feature I really like, the scroll wheel has a spin-mode, and this mouse retains the tilt-scrolling functionality by putting it in a separate switch down by the back/forward thumb buttons. The surface material has no doubt been improved, and the DPI has increased substantially.
