Broke my £100 mouse casting firestorm ><

Maybe that's just crazy talk, but I don't think 100 quid is a reasonable amount at all to spend on a mouse.

companies that specialize in "gaming" hardware like razer and steelseries make trash

half the money you pay for the mouse or keyboard is going directly to their ridiculous marketing campaigns. you end up getting a $20 mouse for $100

i have a logitech g5. while logitech is guilty of marketing as well, at least you get what pay for. i've had my mouse for /eight years/ and it's still going strong.

people should expect more than 1 - 3 years out of things like mice and keyboards.
razer sucks. mice for kiddos with no taste imo :D

logitech g700 and you are set.

either you're lucky or don't use your mouse heavily but Razer is renown for cheap mouse assembly material and a cheap warranty. I'm not saying the mice are bad but the parts don't last as long as other companies

I have a deathadder that I use for Dota2, LoL and PoE. It has lasted 2 years and still works perfectly fine

The only skill I have bound to middle mouse is Portal

I have a deathadder mouse as well and love it. My keyboard is Coolmaster mechanical brown switch and it is extremely well built.

I also rotate bind my auras to middle mouse button.

I've never been as heartbroken as I was a few days ago when I got up from my chair, lost my balance and accidentally wrapped the mouse cord around my ankle and it slammed full force off my computer stand into the metal bar on the bottom and broke everything inside it. I've gotten so spoiled by my Razor Naga, I'm not sure I remember how to game without it. I've had a real pity party pouting because I can't afford to replace it any time soon! I've been so very careful to take care of it but one instant of something I can't control and smashed 100.00. *whine*

And no I wasn't drinking, I sometimes lose my balance due to a disability that affects my right side and leg. :( So i definately feel you on the broken mouse thing.

I use the death adder as well, first one lasted me about 6 years, got another 3 years ago for the DPI/3.5G boost. But after using other razer products I can say the mouse is the only thing I have confidence in.
Razer is trash. The cheapest Chinese parts and cheapest possible assembly. My Death Adder lasted just about 2 years then randomly started freezing/shutting off. Took it apart and saw the wire had come off one of the solder points because it was a ridiculously shitty solder job. Kids eat the Razer shit up though.

I had an Logitech MX500 back in the day for many, many years that I beat the crap out of and it never gave up. I would never buy another Razer product after seeing all the complaints in the past few years. They went to shit reaaaal fast. Can't really expect much else when the owner is some Chinese guy trying to make as much money from nerds as possible.

Man that's awful. I completely quit playing pc games for a couple months when my naga broke I know that pain. I shelled out the money for a new one too.

I can't imagine why people would pay razer for any normal mouse though, they do use seemingly cheap components and by sheer design are fragile. I haven't looked but I hope there is something similar to the naga from another company by the time this one quits otherwise razer may well be getting my money every couple years.
and here i'm playing poe on a generic microsoft mouse
