What is the best class for Facebreaker build?

Sometimes you can take the game out of the garage but you can't take the garage out of the game.

The critical reduction nodes actually got nerfed to only reducing the extra damage portion of the crit - it's pretty weak.

The Marauder start consists of 12 or so points that gets you 30% health + 32 health and life regen.

That's an average of just over 4% life a point. Not bad. But the three strength points it takes to get to the nearest life node highway just kills it.

Duelist gets far less HP, but gets two very strong physical damage mods (which actually aren't bad if you do the maths (gives me about 1k dps in two points). Then you get the amazing Master of the Arena node. Finally some decent armour nodes. But it gets the job done in 11 points, and then you get free reign to choose 4.5% average life nodes later and endgame instead of going to the Marauder start.

However, many Marauders will have to go to Duelist for Leather and Steel, Master of the Arena and Acceleration.

So from a Duelist point of view, instead of going to Marauder nodes you should actually look for better average life per point clusters.

My level 86 facebreaker does not use leather and steel (i use the 22% armor from armor/es nod in templar area), still got 15k dps without any melee damages nods because of the strength nods and i get more life because stength nods actualy raise your life percentage.

I do need the berzerk nods and i did took the golem blood/master of arena from duelist tree, but overall Duelist or maurauder get the exat same benefice playing a facebreaker, it s just duelist start with higher dps while mauders start with higher resist and survivability.

again, you do not need more melee damage nods at low level with facebreaker, hell i am getting 2k dps at level 22 without any melee damages nods!

Searching for melee damages from normal to cruel is a waste of time in my opinion, I prefer having capped resit and high life at start of merciless instead.

Well, you look at it from an overall gain point of view. I don't care about what I get at level 10. I care about what I have in total at level 85.

The increased melee physical mods are pretty much the biggest dps increases besides the big 10%+ attack speed nodes.

Marauder is only strong in the sense that you get a large HP pool, but at endgame, you would rather look for 4.5%+ average clusters over mindlessly going to the Marauder start.

You get Leather and Steel for the ignore movement speed penalty, not the armour/evasion.
