Official Blender Post! Lets theory craft for 1.2! 123k Cleave DPS!
" IMHO Atziri is totally fine with a blender once you get the basics of the fight down. I've killed her around 30 times, stopped dying at her after 10 fights or so. this is my tree: http://www.pathofexile.com/passive-skill-tree/AAAAAgQAAdwB5wOHBS0R1RQgFHEXHRc-GE0YkRutG_odyiP2JJsl3ycvJ08ppTGeMgk0kzWSNug4lj38QXREgUd-Sn1KyE3jTipQR1PfVvpXl1hjWK9Y21pIW69fP2BBYEtjcGVNZ4BnoGxGbqpwcnJscqlyu3Ttdit4DXhJeu982YCKg3yE2YTvh3aI8YzPkAqVZpkrmy2bg6FtpBmmV6cwqAepbqvFtfK2QbcXuc28n72Bvoq-p8APwQTG2NJN037dDd_v45_qGO4O7w7veu_j7_DxivZI9zL3Tfjr_MX-jw== Items: I got 6300 life, 36k tooltip dps with cyclone, 13k armour and 75 elemental res. |

Not the first time I've done something stupid in POE while being sleepy/intoxicated, but here it is:
Not that the added quality would have helped me too much, but still a very dumb error. But the result is much better than I expected it to be. Since 45% of my damage is elemental, this helps a LOT for dps. My question is since now using Enfeeble on CWDT is pointless, what would be a good replacement for it? I already have Enduring Cry and Decoy Totem on CWDT. Anyway, I'm not sure I'll keep using these gloves, although the dps increase is very nice, I value the survivability from Enfeeble a bit higher. molten strike, wings of entropy, frenzy Stone sound good?

" Enfeeble is still good. It will enfeeble anyone who hasn't been touched by those gloves yet, especially projectile throwers. The ele weakness will override it once hit. I have cwdt enfeeble and temp chains on hit for max defence. It will be even better once I get my hands on a decent amulet with +1 curse. So many strikes within one breath.
But only one strike needed, for certain death. |

A fair point, but given the speed with which I move around and attack enemies, the curse doesn't stay on for more than a fraction of a second. I've decided to use the free socket for leveling gems for now. Most of the time ranged monsters aren't that scary anyway I think.

How feasible is the Taming in this build? With attack speeds easily reaching the 10.0 area, the 5% freeze chance sounds quite nice to me.
Since Soul Taker's physical damage counts towards chilling, would it also apply towards freezing? IGN: HoboSwordMaster GMT+2 Last edited by neigenoire#2672 on Jun 9, 2014, 3:05:07 AM

I think the soul taker only chills.
Duration of the freeze would depend on your cold damage, ie hatred aura, so I believe the freeze wouldn't last for more than 1/2 a second, if at all. But I'm really just guessing since I don't own a taming. My character crits often and the hatred aura freezes on crit but it doesn't last long at all, even with such high crit damage. On a side note, if you ever get the chance to use temp chains on hit gloves, do so! The temp chains and chilling effect from the soul taker seem to stack and enemies become extra slow. That's 30% from chill and 29-30% from gloves. So many strikes within one breath. But only one strike needed, for certain death. Last edited by fiqst#3681 on Jun 9, 2014, 4:28:41 AM

I was just wondering how awesome it would be to have temp chains on hit + chill. This would be better and safer than Enfeeble for sure. For a build with so much mobility and speed, this combo would be comparable to freeze.

lvl 1 aa = lvl 11 temp chains because of chill mechanics. i put it on all my cycloners....well just because it make sense, cuz ur always at their feet. adding enfeeble to that is the nail in the head in most cases.

" Sorry guys didn't mean to be so cryptic, but my version of the build is a dual axe (with soul taker), and main attack is dual strike. At level 88 the build has 8k armour, 5k health, and runs three auras. (96% mana reserved) With dual strike the build produces 60k dps, up to 89k in groups; right now I have been using molten strike for more aoe, and that produces 46k aoe dps. I started to follow the original poster's blender guide but veered off at around level 50 or so, I wanted more health, more dps, and much more survivability. If there is interest in my version of the blender build I can try to do a mini guide. I mainly tried to not waste any tree points, and went after gear that was 95% of what I was looking for. Also this build was created in Ambush. If there is interest, just ask I'll provide what I can. ![]() ![]() Last edited by zombie9393#5136 on Jun 9, 2014, 8:41:13 PM
