Remote Mine with spectre? Can someone explain?

So... Mine gem + % minion more dmg gem it doubles the dmg of that spectres or not ?. Because that should be work on a 6L IMO.

" Yes they will work together, the mine being a multiplier on the additive minion gem. Minions benefit from many support gems so it is worth doing some testing. With tentacle specters you can use lmp, gmp, chain, fork, attack speed, minion damage, added light/chaos damage, remote mine, culling, life leech, projectile speed etc etc |

But better Fireball sentinels than tentacles right ?.

So I just started leveling my remote mine gems. They are about level 8 now, and my minion damage gem is level 19 and I think 76% damage from memory.
My two spectres of choice are flame sentinels and tentacle miscreations. I only have a 5L chest since in the 5 months I've been playing now, I have only gotten 2 exalted gems and about 15 gcp's. So basically I'm poor. So on my 5L since I want to try and maximize my IIR and IIQ I have both item quantity and item rarity gems - so that leaves just three spots for other gems, one of which has to be raise spectre and another LMP. So one gem spot remains for something else. I've been going with minion damage, but if remote mine makes them do more damage I want to use that of course. At what point is remote mine better and how much better? Anyone have any numbers? Thanks. Casual Player - who likes microtransactions and hideouts.

Remote mine when there is sentinel corpse only and then they recieve the remote bonuses + GMP and otehr supprt dmg and survivality too, isnt it ?.
