also, if the game does not want to start after crash, rebooting OSX (easy way), or deletion of /tmp/xWS* (harder way) is often enough to fix it. (detail also in FAQ)

It looks like with the old wrapper you had either the "game cursor" and sometimes after switching apps the "mac cursor", never both. With the new one you can have "none", one of them or even both cursors.

The "game cursor" has a different color and is "delayed" or even "stutters" with the remaining action. It is very much like having the "Hardware" vs "Software" Cursors on Windows.

Some other thing which is different is the background color of items in the inventory. To me it looks "wrong" with 3.7 (and Crossover). I am not sure how it is supposed to look and I am to lazy to run it on my windows system :)


What's definitely is better is the effects on the "bomb throwing" things in crematorium. In the past the effects masks where not correct... it looked like some "rectangular space game inspired" effect :)... now it looks like it was meant to look I bet!

yeah i also notice that if my cursor on 3.7 starts to act weird, the icon with either freeze and then i can still move my "invisible" mouse around and move items but i am guessing and dont know exactly where it is cause the icon froze. sometimes if i click on safari then back to the POE screen then i will see the smaller mac icon cursor and then it will work. then it may freeze up again frequently when i open my inventory and put the cursor there.

I hear alot of people say 3.6 doesnt have the cursor issue? if so what is the most efficient way to move from my 3.7 to the 3.6? thanks

also some of the descriptions for items seem to have the wording overlapped? not a big deal, but in case it wasnt mentioned. i for sure noticed the word overlapping with the special description on the unique items.

one other minor thing, when i try to change the settings, some of the resolutions or turn it from "medium" to "high" graphics, or uncheck the default "post processing" then the game will completely freeze and crash. sorta weird. so i just leave the settings alone lol.

so other than the weird mouse issue, this program runs awesome!
how do i switch from full screen to windowed mode custom 0x0 like it had on first start? Also everytime I try to change the resolution after the 1st start, it crashes...how do i fix that?

I understand the FaQ now. CMD + Enter does not work, for the other more sophisticated approach using spotlight to change the "False" to "True" I need a program...

Specfically when i attempt to open this document with spotlight i recieve "There is no default application specified to open the document production_Config.ini."
Downloaded this yesterday and it works great on my Mac! Didn't manage to play much before work today (level 2 lol) but so far everything looks fantastic and hopefully I'll enjoy this game just as much as I enjoyed D2 and D3!

I don't have issues with mouse disappearing if I play in windowed. I just tested in fullscreen and everytime I click, the pointer vanishes. If I drag the mouse to the bottom of the screen then it reappears, but playing like that is of course not good.

So with wrapper 3.7, windowed mode for me for now, too.

Open production_Config.ini in Documents/My Games/Path of Exile/ and change resolution_width=x, resolution_height=y, x and y you can choose yourself.

Well i ended up changing the Wine engine to CX12.0 in the 3.7 wrapper...my mouse is working again.
