Trade chat macro.

therez that guy spaming trade chats with macro for hours it makes cycles 1-10 channels over and over and over
is that allowed? if so ill make my own ahk macros -.-

It's against ToS and bannable.

You dont know he is macroing (he might be) or just spamming up arrow and typing /trade x every second. Shows that the trade channel change was not an improvement at all, and that trading in this game is insanely primitive still. Oh, and report spam apparently do nothing when it comes to trade chat spammers.

i doubt something like this is bannable. GGG said only things that give you advantage over killing or exiting game on low life or magic find swapping macros are not allowed.

time saving command macros like /oos and such are - and so this probably fits into that category.

I have seen Chris say something like bannable = anything normal players can't do. I can sit there and hop trades putting a wall of spam in each one, a macro would just make it easier.

I think the B patch messed with something related to keystroke input though. My /oos macro was not working part of the time yesterday or it had been slowed and I could see it being typed more often. Part of the time it was like before the patch though.

I personally have been going manually through trade channels 1 to 20 (via /trade x) and up-arrowing my message into each, completely macro free. I don't do it REPEATEDLY, mind you, maybe once every 20 minutes until I buy/sell what I want. So far, it is working out well, but it is kind of annoying, as I am not a super fast typer and it takes like 2-3 min to go through the channels.

but spaming for 4 hours channels 1-25 repeat repeat repeat woulda be insane to do it manualy >_<
i know its fast manualy etc but few hours loop is sketchy with no breaks

i tend to only go 1-4 .

What are trade chat macros allowed to do? Can I have one to post a message in trade chats 1-30? Can I make it repeat for hours? Am I only allowed to use a macro to post in one trade chat at a time?
