No, not on a single target but when you only use a single target skill, then yeah you end up spam clicking because you are clicking every single enemy one by one

plus it helps not not stay locked on a target, which is useful when you want to target another enemy close by or escaping

come to think of it, target locking is supposed to make things better but it does the exact opposite, especially when using AoE skills.
