what's the max slot for one hand weapon?

3 sockets is max for all one handed weapons, except the Goddess Unleashed.



It is extremely rare for a six link armor or weapon to drop. You can try to six link a six socket item with fusing orbs, but whether that ends up taking a few dozen orbs or several thousand is a matter of luck. The master Vorici can force a six link, but that costs 1500 fusing.

When you get into act 3, act 4 and maps, you should start to see six socket items drop occasionally. If your character is not too far above the area level, you will see them drop a little more often.

Actually, dont fishing rods have 4 sockets while only being one handed?

Also, goddess unleashed is a one-handed weapon with 6 links that takes up both weapon slots.
