I'm a 22 year old from Canada, and I have to say my interest in this game is because I have played Diablo since I was a wee lad. I always liked the game, both Diablo 1 and 2 and I figured this game has the same dark fantasy appeal of Diablo 1 and possibly even Demon's Souls. I also cannot wait for the 6th class to be announced.

That should hardly count as "intellectually stimulating." It might be intellectually stimulating to someone with downs syndrome, but anybody with a education above 10th grade wouldn't even have to think twice about it.

It's idiotic because video games are not intellectually stimulating and anybody who says otherwise just wants to stroke themselves. It implies English is not his first language because of his response to my first post, which clearly shows he has no reading comprehension.

None of those examples are intellectually stimulating. If I can play through a video game without actively thinking about every decision I'm making, it's not intellectually stimulating. If those examples are intellectually stimulating, then you're intellectually disabled.

ME: male, 42 years, gaming since 1978 i think

Hardware History: ZX81, Atari 400, Atari 600XL + C64, Amiga + Atari ST and finally landing on the PC with wingcommander 1 i think it was.

Games: next to everything since pong .. RPGs since ultima 1 on a friends apple 2e

Online Games: Ultima Online, D1, D2, Warhammer, WoW, Horizons, Daoc and a ton of other games

Job: Microsoft and Novell certified freelancer for PC Hard/Software assembling and teaching ppl basics about the PC, office .. photoshop, 3d- or soundapps or whatever they are interested in. Also creating 2D demos for companys to run in their shop windows etc and creating promo dvd´s of those.

Hobby: ? just look up

I'm 18, male, from the US and I've been an avid gamer for most of my life and have spent many many hours on the assorted Diablo clones as I'm sure many of you have here and I'm really excited for PoE. :D

Niko, 17 year old Highschool student, from Canada finishing up working 5 days a week for sumemr job atm, played WoW for years as well as Diablo 2 before that, some experience in WC3 FT, and more recently playing HoN, and LoL with some school friends. Played WoW most compettively and was ranked top 200 teams in arena tourney with only playing the last night before it ended (WotLK) although i had played since right before BC launch). Mained an elem shaman before quitting acouple of weeks after Cata. ongoing interest in D2esque style of hack n slash, also looking forward to D3 although i definetly will continue to play PoE.

Look forward to bashing some face in pvp and with friends on my marauder which will be named RectumWrecka or DragonCutta : D
