I just don't know how this company survives, will POE make it to release?

Chris has devoted a lot of money from his own savings to starting the project. They also have other investors that are currently funding the company, along with the proportionately small amount that pre-purchases have brought in.

I'm pretty sure most of the guys working on this project also have full-time or at least contract/part-time jobs.

In one video, Chris mentioned that luckily he has rich friends. So I assume that is how they have got this far.

"The devs, at least the majority, work full-time at GGG. I believe some of the art and things were contracted out to freelancers, but I may just have misinterpreted some wording on that. I'm sure that the unpaid higher-ups do/have done some side-work and consulting. I mean the guy makes money SOMEHOW

" I know they got plenty until Open Beta, and even close to stable release. Though, they are gonna have to rely more on the customers once open beta start, so PoE can last even beyond stable release. Sometimes you can take the game out of the garage but you can't take the garage out of the game.
