It should work like this: Right click the effect in the microtransaction menu. It stays on and affects all your characters until turned off. Looks like I'll be even more likely to blow through my GGGold when the daily deals are going to be that much cheaper! Can't wait for intense flaming/freezing/shocking weapon effects and helms! Also, alternate skill effect that make Tempest Shield glow with a radiant/holy aura, and modification to Lightning Strike that resembles a holy beam from the heavens would be sweeeeet!
