How can you come out of void league?

I personally would love to be able to continue in the 'void' league without having to be in a race. So many times I like the build I've managed to get with a Descent or Ledge character but I'm not uber fast or anything to make it far enough to see all that the place has to offer in the hour or two that we get.
Even if there's no way to leave the league or trade or anything at all to gain from it, I'd like to be able to keep playing until reaching the end or the character is killed. Sometimes the doing of a thing is the only reason you need.
